Welcome to the Grumpy Useless Lazy F*****s webpage. We are Craig, Lee and Andy, 3 middle age guys who think we are still teenagers!
Our car is the Ford GT51½: a tribute to the legendary Ford GT40, in particular the Le Mans winning Gulf sponsored cars of 1968 & 1969. Formerly it was a Ford Probe 16v with 100,000 miles under its tyres which we paid the princely sum of £150.
For a thorough mechanical test the Probe was entered into a production car trial: an event this sort of car is totally unsuitable and came dead last but it performed admirably with no clutch, brake or cooling problems with the only breakage being a front fog light when trying to drive through a large boulder! After comprehensive research and development transformation of the Probe into the GT51½ took place. This took the form of paint, stickers and aero enhancements including a Fast & Ludicrous style rear wing!
To do our bit for good causes we are raising money through sponsorship for The FireFighter’s Charity (formerly the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund) and Breakthrough Breast Cancer. This also helps convince our wives that it is definitely not a holiday!
